Independence Day

The Department of Hospitality Science at YIASCM celebrated Independence Day on August 14, 2024, with the event 'HospiTalent - Flavour of Freedom' at Lecture Hall 16, YIASCM Balmatta. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Balakrishna Kalluraya, HOD of Chemistry, along with department faculty and student representatives.

The celebration featured cultural performances, including mime acts, patriotic songs, and dances, reflecting India's rich heritage. Students also delivered a presentation on the significance of Independence Day. The venue was adorned in tricolour décor, with tricolour laddus and mocktails served by the kitchen and F&B teams.

The event concluded with a strong sense of patriotism and unity. Hajar and Gina of I BSc Hospitality Management compered the programme.
