We offer a two-year Postgraduate (PG) Programme – M.Sc. in Chemistry with specializations in: Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry These programs are designed to provide a strong theoretical foundation, hands-on laboratory experience, and exposure to industry-relevant practices. Our curriculum is continually updated to align with current scientific advancements and industry standards.

  • Candidates who have passed the three-year B.Sc. degree examination of any University recognized by UGC with Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Forensic Chemistry/Science as one of the subjects provided, they have studied them as major/optional/special subject and have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Recall the fundamental concepts, principles and theories in Chemistry.
  • Understand the background of organic reaction mechanisms, complex chemical structures, and instrumental methods of chemical analysis, molecular rearrangements and separation techniques.
  • Demonstrate a deep and comprehensive understanding of core principles, theories, and concepts in chemistry.
  • Clearly communicate the results of scientific work in oral, written and electronic formats.
  • Apply critical review of research literature to articulate the research problems
  • Inspect environmental health and pollution through awareness and a sense of responsibilities.
  • Develop advanced laboratory skills, including the ability to design, execute, and analyse experiments, as well as to safely handle chemicals and laboratory equipment.
  • Develop effective scientific communication through written reports, oral presentations, and visual representations, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Design the scientific experiments and interpret data to provide solutions to different industrial problems.
  • Assess the physical aspects of atomic structure, dual behaviour, reaction pathways with respect to time, various energy transformations, molecular assembly in nano-level, significance of electrochemistry, molecular segregation using their symmetry.
