Department of Chemistry
The YEN-MSc (Chemistry/Organic chemistry/Analytical chemistry) is a 2-year postgraduate course that offers scientific and professional entry-level competency along with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in specialized fields. Vision of department is to create quality educated students with basic understanding of chemistry and allied subjects.
To integrate academic knowledge with practical, research and industry inputs to help students realize their optimum potential. We are providing a learning environment that nurtures critical reflections, exchange of ideas and innovation amongst students. There are Laboratories well equipped with the necessary instruments/ infrastructure to perform experiments in Analytical, Inorganic, Organic, and Physical Chemistry. The Department is well equipped with the necessary infrastructure and sophisticated instruments.
At YEN-MSc (Chemistry/Organic chemistry/Analytical chemistry), students study, learn and instruct in an atmosphere that is supported by information and communication technology(ICT). In order to develop the scientific temperament, various activities like open house, quizzes, industrial visit, internship, project work and departmental chemical society meet, conducted on the regular basis.
- B.Sc. Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry as one of subject graduate with minimum 50%
- Duration : Two years with four semesters
- Title of the program: Master of Science in Chemistry/Organic chemistry/Analytical chemistry.
