2. Scope of the Programme :

BBA(Hons) / (Hons with Research)

Along with formal education, the BBA degree provides a variety of career opportunities. Considering the economic growth of the country many new firms are springing up. And this is one among the few degrees that leads directly to high-paying jobs in management and administration segment

3. Goals and objectives of the Programme are:

  • Develop the skills in the competencies, and training that are required for employability or progression to higher education and to deliver services to the life science skill sector including industry/environment.
  • Build knowledge and awareness on the contemporary advances and developments in the discipline/sector.
  • Develop skills as a self-directed learner; recognize continuing educational needs, select and use appropriate learning resources.
  • Demonstrate competence in research oriented learning that includes project, report writing and data analytics skills.
  • Inculcate the highest human values, social responsibilities/justice and appreciation for the environment.
  • Train to be a proficient in profession by developing scientific temper and improve educational experience.
  • Identify social, economic, environmental and emotional determinants of the life science sector and take them into account while planning for solutions/measures/strategies; Provide sufficient exposure to team work and innovation culture

5. Programme Introduction:

Department of Management YIASCM, offers a competency based curriculum framework for the undergraduate/bachelor-level programme. The self-directed learning component, challenges students to experience the concept of lifelong learning with motivates individual efforts. The curriculum also incorporates courses for holistic development such as yoga, NSS, IT skills, Ethics, Right to Information and Good Governance, Advertising & Media Management, Venture discovery, and Event Management among others.

Aviation

BBA Aviation offers a strong managerial foundation, particularly in the sector of aviation and the airline industry. Students may study about airport planning, passenger forecasts, airport security, fire safety, and other themes in this course.

Logistics

BBA in Logistics Management degree offers a strong managerial foundation and opens up a gateway for multiple job opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sectors such as public and private organizations, Shipping Companies, Ports and Harbors, Air, Rail and Road Transportation firms, Logistics Companies as Logistic Manager, Supply Chain Planning Manager, Inventory Control Manager, Warehouse Manager etc

Supply Chain Management

BBA in SCM enables students to prepare for, plan, and control operations related to supply chain management.

Entrepreneurship

BBA in Entrepreneurship programme introduces students to business management concepts, analyzing company prospects, common entrepreneurial pitfalls, how to explore new initiatives and establish new ones within existing firms, financial planning, and marketing tactics.

Business Analytics

BBA in Business Analytics degree assists students in maximising their skill sets and making sound judgements. It improves students' analytical and communication abilities, as well as their data analytics understanding. It may assist them in obtaining suitable employment.

Digital Marketing

The BBA in Digital Marketing programme includes traditional marketing, site design, social media marketing, SEO, content authoring, and other skills. BBA in Port Management is designed to prepare students for managerial positions in the ports, shipping, and logistics industries.

Hospital Administration and Medical Tourism

Graduates with a BBA in Hospital Administration and Medical Tourism can pursue various job roles in hospitals, clinics, medical tourism companies, and government agencies, including hospital administrators, medical tourism managers, healthcare consultants, and healthcare policy analysts.

Hospitality Aviation Travel and Tourism

Graduates with a BBA in Hospitality Aviation Travel and Tourism can pursue various career opportunities in airlines, hotels, tourism boards, travel agencies, and related industries, including positions such as airline manager, hotel manager, travel agency owner, tourism marketer, and hospitality consultant.
