Industrial Visit to Gurucharan Industries

On April 24th, 2025, our MSc Chemistry students from YIASCM embarked on an enlightening industrial visit to Gurucharan Industries in Baikampady, Mangaluru. The visit provided a unique opportunity to explore the plastic manufacturing sector, specifically the production of industrial machinery and plastic sheets.

During the visit, students gained hands-on insights into the manufacturing process, from raw material input to final product output. This experience not only deepened their understanding of polymer chemistry but also exposed them to real-world applications and industry practices.
