On October 3, 2024, the NSS Unit - 10, in collaboration with the Department of Forensic Science at Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management (YIASCM), organized an expert lecture titled "Empowering Everyday Heroes: Demystifying the Good Samaritan Law." The session, held at the YMK Auditorium, was aimed at educating students, faculty, and attendees about the significance of the Good Samaritan Law and its role in empowering citizens to assist during emergencies without the fear of legal consequences. The guest speaker for the event was Ms. Devika Shenoy, Assistant Professor from the Department of MBA at YIASCM.
