Poster Presentation Competition organised by Department of Commerce on theme "From Policy to Poster: Revealing the Narrative of the Central Budget"

The Department of Commerce, Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management (YASCM) organised an engaging poster-making competition titled "From Policy to Poster: Revealing the Narrative of the Central Budget" on March 28, 2024.

The primary goal was to promote awareness about fiscal policy and inspire students from BCom and BBA backgrounds to showcase their creative and fiscal abilities through visually captivating artworks.

Judging the competition were esteemed professors from YIASCM, Dr. Suresh Poojary and Dr. Rajesh M. Participants skillfully intertwined themes of fiscal policy, socio-economic impact, and artistic expression.Evaluation criteria, encompassing creativity, relevance to the central budget theme, message clarity, and aesthetic appeal, were meticulously upheld.

Principal Dr. Arun A. Bhagwath, Dr. Shareena P (Dean Faculty of Commerce and Management), Dr. Jeevan Raj (Vice Principal), Mr. Mahammad Shahid (Head of the Department of Commerce), and faculty coordinators Ms. Jyothi and Ms. Nubeera played instrumental roles in guiding the event to success.

The competition served as a poignant reminder of the significant impact the central budget has on the nation's socio-economic fabric. Through their creative endeavors, students showcased the influential role of visual storytelling in elucidating complex concepts and stimulating public discourse on pertinent issues.
