Bankers Institute of Rural Development, NABARD, Mangaluru Region, organized a field visit for officials from Regional Rural Banks, Financial Literacy Centre Counsellors, and Financial Counsellors from the Centre for Financial Literacy across India. Led by GM Mr. Baidya Nath Singh and AGM Mr. Shakti Prasanna Mohapatra, the team from BIRD visited Yenepoya Technology Incubator-Deralakatte, YUHUB-YIASCM-Kulur, and Yen-Refined-YIASCM. YIASCM students presented business proposals under the guidance of Vice Principal Dr Jeevan Raj and Incubation Co-ordinator Ms Divya Anchan, Dr. Niyaz Panakaje of YEN-REFINED emphasized the importance of research, Ms. Divya Anchan explained about the Incubation Centre setup, and Principal Dr Arun Bhagwath highlighted the importance of translating research output into ideas for Incubation start ups. The visit set a floor for academic collaborations between YIASCM and BIRD.
