Deeksharambh Day 1

Student Induction and Orientation program, Deeksharambh 2023 organised by The Yenepoya Institute of Arts Science Commerce and Management was inaugurated on 17th July 2023 at Yendurance Zone, Deralaktte. The program was organised for the  newly joined first year students of BBA, BCom, B.Sc , BA and BCom programs.

This unique program focuses on assisting new students in setting in and becoming comfortable in their surroundings, educating them about the University's ethos and culture, fostering relationships between them and others and exposing them to a sense of greater purpose and self-exploration.

The chief guest was Mr. Mullai Mulihan MP, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, DK district  Dr. Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, Hon. Chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Dr. M Vijayakumar, Hon. Vice-Chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Dr. B H Sripathi Rao, Hon. Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Gangadhara Somayaji, Registrar, Dr. B T Nandish, Controller of examination, Dr. Arun A Bhagwath, Principal and Dean Faculty of Science, Dr. Shareena P, Vice Principal and Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Dr. Jeevan Raj, Vice Principal and Mr, Narayan Sukumar, Vice Principal presided over the program.

The Resource persons for Day 1 were Mr Stany, Graphologist who focused on handwriting analysis and Mr Anton Menezes, Founding Team, Program manager, Kalvium.
