YIASCM Organises Industrial Visit to Bank of Baroda

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, YIASCM, organized an Industrial Visit for the students of the Financial Literacy Course (BA Psychology & Counselling and Journalism & Digital Media) to Bank of Baroda, Panjimogaru, Mangaluru, on 20 February 2026.

The session was led by Ms. Anu Sasidharan, Joint Manager, who provided practical insights into banking operations, financial services, digital banking systems, and responsible financial practices. Students gained first-hand exposure to branch operations and participated in an interactive discussion on financial planning and career opportunities in the banking sector.

Programme Coordinators Dr. Vasanth Kumar, Dean and Head of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Mr. Srinivasa Pejathaya, accompanied the students. The visit strengthened experiential learning and enhanced students' understanding of financial literacy through real-world exposure.
