Proud moment for YIASCM! Felicitating our outstanding ACCA achievers who exemplify global competence and academic brilliance.

The Department of Commerce, Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce & Management (YIASCM), in collaboration with the International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC), organised Professional Day 2025 - Felicitation to ACCA Achievers on 30th October 2025 to celebrate the accomplishments of students in the ACCA qualification pathway.

The Chief Guest, Ms. Shilpi Tandan, Associate Director, KPMG, congratulated the achievers and highlighted the growing relevance of global professional qualifications in today's business environment.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. B. T. Nandish, Controller of Examinations, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), commended the department for its efforts in integrating international professional programmes into higher education.

In his Presidential Address, Professor Jeevan Raj, Principal, YIASCM, lauded the students for their achievements and encouraged them to pursue professional excellence.

The event gained strong support from Dr. Shareena P, Vice Principal and Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, and Mr. Narayan Sukumar A, Vice Principal, who appreciated the department's initiatives in nurturing globally competent professionals.

A key highlight of the occasion was the felicitation of Ms. Isha Mariyam A and Ms. Ayisha Abdul Rauf from the B.Com (IAF) 2022-25 batch, who achieved ACCA Affiliate status in the September 2025 Examination Session. Additionally, 34 students were recognised with Certificates of Appreciation for successfully clearing various ACCA papers.
