The Department of Commerce, Yenepoya PU College, organized a guest lecture "Groomed for Greatness - The Corporate Makeover" on 1st Sept 2025.

The resource person, Mrs. Chaithra Shetty (ACOE & Asst. Professor, Dept. of Commerce, YIASCM), delivered an inspiring talk on Skills Beyond Textbooks - highlighting the role of communication, confidence & career readiness in shaping future professionals. She emphasized that success in the corporate world requires not only academic knowledge but also strong personality, adaptability, and self-presentation.

She motivated students through practical insights and interactive discussions, urging them to build a balance between academics and real-world skills. The session was highly engaging and left students inspired to pursue excellence beyond textbooks.
