Investor Awareness Workshop: Building Financial Literacy for Sustainable Growth

The Department of Management, YIASCM, through its Investors Club, organized a university-level workshop on "Investor Awareness: Back to Basics" on 30th July 2025 at YMK Auditorium, Kular Campus. The session was conducted by Mr. Leo Amala, Senior Branch Manager, Franklin Templeton India Pvt. Ltd., who spoke on investment fundamentals, strategies, risk management, and financial planning. Prof. Cassin Rodriguez delivered the inaugural address, followed by presidential remarks from Prof. Jeevan Raj, with the presence of Prof. Narayan Sukumar A, Vice Principal. The workshop witnessed the active participation of around 250 students and 50 teachers, who gained practical insights into financial literacy and investment practices. The event also aligned with UN-SDGs 4, 8, and 17, reinforcing its relevance to education, economic growth, and partnerships.
